We are delighted to let you know that bookings are now open for the Young Carers Aspirations Conference, taking place at the University of Bath on 9 April 2026, for those in year 10 and above.
This free event is designed to support young carers who are thinking about their future after school or college, helping them to explore their options and raise their aspirations.
What young carers will gain from the day:
- A visit to a university campus, including a guided campus tour
- Clear, accessible information about university, apprenticeships, and future pathways
- A choice of workshops covering topics such as:
- University applications
- Student finance and funding
- Mental wellbeing and managing the transition to higher education
- The opportunity to hear from other young carers about their experiences of university life
- Practical support with university applications
- Free lunch and a free goody bag
