We’re thrilled to share some exciting news! One of our incredible young carers, Cory, joined our CEO Karen Davis for a special feature on Radio Bath. Together, they spoke about the vital work of YCDT and gave listeners a glimpse into the everyday challenges young carers face — as well as the incredible resilience, determination, and hope these young people show.
During the interview, Cory bravely shared his personal experiences of balancing caring responsibilities with school and his own ambitions. His story highlighted just how important it is to have support systems like YCDT’s long-term mentoring programme, which helps young carers focus on their education, build confidence, and plan for a brighter future.
